CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH

Philadelphia's Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, initially a quintet formed in 2004, became an indie rock sensation with their self-titled 2005 debut, largely propelled by early online music blogs. Now primarily the project of singer-songwriter Alec Ounsworth, the band is known for its distinctive blend of quirky, melodic indie rock and Ounsworth's unique vocal delivery. Their sound often features jangling guitars, layered synth riffs, and a raw, energetic edge. With a new album, Burned, slated for January 2027, their live shows offer a chance to experience their evolving sound.
