CHARMAINE LEE

Sydney, Australia-born and New York-based vocalist Charmaine Lee has carved a unique path in experimental music, known for her fearless improvisational approach and extended vocal techniques. Her debut tape, Ggggg, arrived in 2018, followed by the acclaimed 2021 LP KNVF on Erratum Musical, and her 2025 album Tulpa on her own Kou Records. Lee sculpts volatile, deeply embodied soundscapes using voice, feedback, and electronics, blurring the lines between organic and synthetic. Her performances are visceral sonic rituals, alive with risk and spontaneity.
