BREJERA

Brejera, a Vancouver-based band formed in 2004 by Mario Silva (São Paulo, Brazil) and Trevor Murray (Nova Scotia, Canada), delivers authentic Brazilian music. Their sound is a vibrant blend of traditional samba, baião, frevo, and choro, driven by Silva's 7-string guitar and vocals, Murray's cavaquinho, Bruno Matos on pandeiro, and Tobias Soley on saxophone and clarinet. They are known for their powerful energy and ability to transport audiences to the middle of a Brazilian carnival. Expect a lively, spontaneous celebration of Brazilian rhythms.
