BRAKENCE

Columbus, Ohio native Randy Findell, known as brakence, has carved out a distinct space in alternative music since his 2020 breakthrough album, punk2, released via Columbia Records. His sound blends hyperpop, emo rap, and Midwest emo, often featuring intricate production and a dynamic vocal range that shifts between baritone and falsetto. With his latest album, marroW, released in October 2026, he continues to push a sound filled with glitchy beats, distorted guitars, and emotionally charged songwriting. Expect a live experience that balances raw energy with sophisticated, abstract textures.
