AIMI KOBAYASHI

Born in Ube, Japan, classical pianist Aimi Kobayashi gained international acclaim as a Fourth Prize winner at the 18th International Chopin Piano Competition in 2021. A student of Meng-Chieh Liu at the Curtis Institute of Music, she released her debut CD/DVD, Aimi Kobayashi Debut, in 2010, followed by recordings on Warner Classics, including her latest, "Schubert" (2024). Her playing is marked by a perfect technique, light touch, and virtuosic command, delivering a sound that is both delicate and powerful.
