A TROMBONE CONCERT
About A Trombone Concert
Vancouver is home to "Holiday Slides: A Trombone Concert," an annual event featuring a large trombone choir composed of musicians from the Vancouver Symphony, Vancouver Opera, and UBC. This unique classical instrumental performance focuses solely on the rich, resonant tones of the trombone, exploring its versatility from deep, sonorous lows to bright, soaring highs. Expect a warm, enveloping sound that fills the space with a distinct brassy grandeur.
